It meant that the decent students (if such a beast exists) had to be resourceful and have enough initiative to learn stuff themselves. I have to honestly say that I owe no gratitude to the CS staff.

Back on topic - if anyone is seriously intending to go, but haven't booked their tickets yet, please let me know as we can book a batch to save a bit of money (£3 per ticket and £4.70 postage!!).
<edit> Just spotted that the charges only apply to online or telephone booking, so I might just send off a cheque instead.

Including yours Dean, that'll be 4 tickets already. It's just basically saving on the £4.70 postage fee really, so we can split it between a few people. This will make the tickets a fraction over £29 each at the moment, which is still more than face value but still making a saving overall.

Cant you get it through the post for the price of a stamped addressed envelope?!
I thought if you sent them a cheque for the amount and a stamped addressed envelope you got them for the price (cant remeber what it is off my head - also cant find the web site)
if you cant though I'll take 2 and scotty wants one

Yeah, I did mention the post method in my post above somewhere...but I'd prefer to make sure that payment has definately been made...and I'm a bit wary of the "please allow 28 days for delivery" bit at the bottom!
