The Alpinestars E-5 Sport Jacket is a textile jacket with a suggested retail price of £169.99. This fantastic jacket features a detachable 3 layer thermal liner, water proof exterior, removable CE approved armour in elbows and shoulders, reflective strips for safety, 600 denier fabric, Zip ventilation, back protector compartment with foam pad, can take CE approved armour and is only £79.99! Yes you read that correctly £79.99!

Just want to know if it will keep my dry (unlike my T-Dyno JAcket) And if things in the pockets will stay dry aswell (AGAIN, Unlike my T-Dyno)

Thumbs Up

Looks like it is water 'resistant' not waterproof.

Review
I got hold of one of these jackets just a week ago for the bargain price of just £80. Its an ideal summer jacket as there is a removable liner and is also very lightweight. I always wanted an alpinestars jacket and this was the only one they had in the shop to fit me (XXXL)and im glad i got it. Dont know how waterproof it is as ive only had it a week and also i try not to go out in the wet either.

Strengths
The strengths are, price(obviously),comfort, weight & the Alpinestars name

Weaknesses
At the moment i cant find any weaknesses apart from the arms are a bit long with having to get XXXL

i've got one! Bought it from J&S in Watford - £60 or 80.

It is waterproof and quite warm as well.

Got caught in a SERIOUS downpour the other day and i was still dry as a bone!

Only thing is - the coller is a bit low so u can get a few splashes around your neck.

...other than that pretty decent summerish jacket.
