Like the title says Im looking at getting a new PC just for upstairs. I want to plug it into my LCD through a DVI connection and use it as a media centre/download/making DVD backups/playing online games and running the xbox360 online through it. Ive got no idea where to start with the spec though and how much I should be paying. Anyone got any ideas, Ihavent got a clue!

Cheers!

An Ideq bare bone system is a good starting point for a media center as the case is designed to be left in the living room and has media functions on the front. It can also take any PCI graphics card allowing you to choose which card you require for gaming, it can handle up to 2 gig of memory and has 7.1 sourround as standard. Very easy to slot in hardrive and DVD RW etc.
