The Desmosedici RR has an RRP of £37,500 in the UK. But the Honda NR750 cost £38,000 back in 1992, which nowadays is worth nearer to £50k, so that is probably the most expensive.

EDIT: actually, I think the most expensive is the Y2K jet bike (Jay Leno owns one) which is $150,000, or £79,200.

NR 750. With the "Spam Tin" pistons. Laughing

Only ever saw one of them.

Local(ish) Honda dealer, C J Ball, had one in their showroom.

Never seen one on the road though.

I saw the NR750 on display at Goodwood last year, stunning machine, but it did look a bit dated.

And yes, I think you will find the Y2K is a production road machine, well in the USA anyway.

If you're thinking UK mainstream, then a Ducati 999R is £20k and an MV Agusta F4 1000 Tamburini is £30k.

Correct-a-mundo. It is actually called the Marine turbine technologies Y2K turbine superbike.I took the chance of a life-time an riden one while I was in the US on holiday.

This bike is scary as hell and has a 'crap your pants fast' acceleration factor that is off the rector scale, and I own a hyabusa!

Arrow diesel 2-speed automatic
Arrow 320.00 HP @ 52000 RPM
Arrow 576.30 Nm @ 2000 RPM
Arrow 226.8 kg
Arrow 250mph top speed
Arrow 0-227mph in 15 seconds

I may sell the house Thinking Shame only 5 get built a year though.

Anyone know how much the FP-1 would have cost if you were one of the fortunate 100?

A small production but a production none the less.

Harleys are expensive, I rember seeing a video of a black dude who just bought a Gold wing ( I think )

Basicly he started talking in his silly black english langue saying how it was £55,000 or somthing, then he rode it off and crashed into a car... Id like to think it was fake but he was a black american gangstah wonnabe so it probably was real.

Wasn't that bike mentioned / showed in the film "Torque". A bit random but if it was it looked nice!

Yes it's in Torque...

Apparently there's a weird 'lag' between twisting the throttle and the response when the turbine spins up.

Also it makes 14bhp on idle... then increases exponentially... scary stuff.
