I had a bit of an accident on saturday gone. Thought I would go for a ride saturday afternoon and heads off down the A19. takes a turn off and got a bit lost in Sunderland so was just riding along until I recognise one of the roads and head off to make my way home. Well I'm riding down Queen Alexander Road in Sunderland and come to a round-a-bout, the way was clear so I pull out and head for my exit. At the very next exit a woman in a great big 4x4 decides she doesn't have to give way to me and smashes into me and the bike sending us down the road. Anyway I get a broken ankle and a bust up bike, and the last 4 days in hospital!! The police where actually pretty good and they have got at least 5 witnesses to the accident, so it's all in the hands of the insurance company and the solicitors.

Was pretty lucky! I remember lying on the road after being hit thinking it should hurt more than this Laughing Guess the shock numbed most of the pain because it's a bitch now Sick

I am sick to death of woman trying to run me over. The only reason I think it hasn't so far because RTAs arn't covered in our life insurance policies.

Hope you get well soon. Get back on a bike ASAP. I would send grapes but I like them too much. Laughing

Yeah speedy recovery.... Thumbs Up

You probably have whiplash as well, and physical disfigurement somewhere, and concussion, and psychological trauma, probably wont ever be able to work again, can't pee straight, so make sure your solicitors pound that silly moo for all she's got...

Good Luck...

Spoke to the police again this morning and she still hasn't shown up with her licence, insurance etc at the local station. The insurance company have been phoning me a lot and so have the solicitors aswell. Just wish I knew what my bike is like, haven't heard a thing about it.
