PC Monitors with built in TV tuners

Just wondering if any of you have one, and what are they like? I've seen a lovely 19" widescreen TFT monitor in PC world with a built in TV tuner for £179.99 in store. Quite interested in buying it as it would serve as a good TV/monitor, so I can sell my huge 28" tank CRT tele lol.

That seems a pretty good deal if they are any good, considering most tvs for £170 are only 15". May get one of these for my new room Thinking

Yeah thats what I was thinking, a 19" widescreen TV/monitor is pretty good for £180. Ebuyer also sell loads of 19" widescreen monitors, some as cheap as £130, but they don't have the TV tuners Sad

I want to modernise my room abit, get rid of this shitty CRT monitor and my CRT tele because they're dead ugly lol

I've seen that Advent one in the flesh, and its a very good size and the widescreen just makes it better.

What does that Tv tuner do? so you can watch things from your computer on your tv?

i.e sit back with wireless mouse at the tv at work?

Find out a few things before getting it.

What inputs is there? If its just a crap analogue monitor its not worth getting. Many of the new video cards need DVI. Also does it have scart/s-video/HDTV inputs etc.

What kind of TV tuner is it? Does it pick up freeview or just 1-5?

Don't get it from PC world as they suck

Lol, that one is only 17" non-widescreen, and costs more. The one from PC world is a tele as well as a monitor, so you can watch tele through it without turning your PC on. Im pretty sure you can connect Xbox, PS2 etc to it as well. Im buying it for a practicality, and the fact it looks good aswell.
