Thats some serious shit to change a crank. Shocked

On mine you dont need to drop the engine and never see the gear box.

I stripped the engine down on my old Suzuki RC 50 to change the crank (so I could sell it) and for some reason when it was reassembled and tightened the sprocket was impossible to turn by hand. It was obviously being prevented from turning because of squeezing somewhere, so I had to check all of the bearings and shims again, line everything up and try again. After several attempts I gave up and it was sold to another RC owner later on. Now, almost a year later, I'm starting to think that maybe I was too rough with the rubber mallet when putting the main bearings in, and I probably shouldnt have used that screwdriver in frustration when getting them back out Rolling Eyes.
