Well............??

I quite fancy one of these next, thoughts?
Fancy a V-Twin next big time but without the insurance costs of the RSV.....

Sick of those pesky Inline-4s....... Thumbs Down

Not heard a bad thing about these bikes yet, anyone got one?

Hi

Thought about one in the past. Never really heard anything bad about them (except the rear shocks seem to get a bit hot). Always seems a strange bike for Aprilia to build being for such a similar market as the Mille.

All the best

Keith

I'm seriously considering one myself. They sell very cheaply on the used market so you get a lot of bike for the money. Top notch suspension, build quality, stonk V-twin, very cabable frame, sporty riding position and if you want it, a lot of noise Twisted Evil

Mate.

Crash one of those and the plastics alone will cost you thousands. Its the one thing that puts me off really. Not saying you'll crash again but second hand fairings go for CRAZY prices!!!!

The wait for parts as well is something I wouldn't be too keen on (perhaps kickstart can clear that one up)

I nearly bought one back in december but the deal fell through so got the firestorm instead. They're fairly cheap on ebay with the same lump as the mille (might be slightly detuned - but the rsv engines can fit in perfectly fine Wink)

Go do a search on ebay before you say things like that. Then you will understand. Razz Fairings for mille, falco and even firestorms cost a lot 2ND hand! Ninjas or gsxr's, due to their popularity - do not cost as much.

Damn straight. Not trying to talk you off them but compared to your ninja, it won't be as easy to own. In terms of servicing and parts etc. Personally, the exclusivity appeals to me anyway but I sure wouldn't get one if I wanted a cheap bike to run.

Me too and the V-twin engine, not as much poke as the RSV but better looking IMO.

Eh? Go do a search, prove me wrong...fairings for bikes like the falco cost a lot more than they will a ninja or gsxr!!

Even new, the aprilia fairings cost a lot more than suzuki or kawasaki.

Oh no please don't worry. I was just bantering.
Obviously the more common the bike, the cheaper and more readily available spares are going to be.
