My vote goes to Bear Share.

Used it for a while. Used to use shareaza, limewire, kazaa and another one (like kazaa, forgotten the name)

Anyway bearshare has all the stuff i need (most films, tv programs, music and software) Its a pretty small program and you don't notice it when its running.

In idle mode it reduces bandwidth used while you are surfing the net which is pretty cool. So you can leave it on 24/7 and when you use the pc it cuts the bandwidth right down almost so you don't even notice its running.

Downloads pretty quick, can download about 7-10 gb overnight on a 4 meg connection depending on sources.

I use Utorrent for big files like movies & games. It uses hardly any memory which means you can carry on doing normal stuff with no lag & it's the only torrent that actually gives you fast speeds without all that setting up.

Limewire seems to have all the rare, old music tracks that the other P2P don't use Like single Hed Kandi tracks.

I use Bitorrent with one websitewith all the links. Pretty fast and can get most things.
Filetopia is ok. Wont use limewire or kazza tho.

It's fooking great. Exactly the same as limewire only no spyware, nothing (it's not-for-profit).

Used one of the previous versions of Bearshare in the past and found it has spyware included.
I've since used eDonkey and uTorrent and found both to be pretty good.

I'll keep an eye on this thread for any better alternatives though
