Set off this morning at 8am. Got back 7 hours and 340 miles later, and £950 lighter, but with my new toy!

Since I swapped my old TZR for a Triumph TT600 I really wanted a two stroke again. The Trumpet is fast, but just not that much fun to ride.

Anyway, was trying to choose which bike to go for, between an RGV 250 and a R250 (and the matter of finding a good one.)

Then this came along. Seemed to fit the bill.

Just have to wait until tommorrow to insure it now. Smile

The lil' ol kwak looks cool.

I have nt seen many for sale, only 1 or 2 on ebay and they were certainly more than a grand and for track use too.

With all the new styling and mod cons its funny how people are still drawn to the bikes of yesteryear.

Big up to the old skool, you rock Thumbs Up

Haven't seen a KR1 for years.

I used to own an RGV. Brought mine in 1990, just after they first came out.

Bloody good fun. Thumbs Up

You can still get all the parts a part from a crank from kawasaki still, great bikes.

I sold mine for £1450 over a year ago.

yeah mate they're fookin lethal them buggers! Shocked Something stupid like 135 top end, can get 145 or something if you change the sprocket sizes, as proved by MCN. Mad. The fun would come from owning many larger CC bikes through the twisties I bet.

That example looks brilliant aswell. Thumbs Up
