Im having them again like constantly since yesterday. I had a bong about 24 hours ago, 4 quite pure ones and it messed me up.

I was really stoned but felt like i was having a serious panic attack. NOt really a bad one just i didnt feel like i could control my mind. Still have it now, it feels like everything looks different and im not actually here, like a dream or something.

My parents have gone away for the week now and im at home. Doesnt help i sniffed 2 grams of chalie last night. I have had about 5 hous sleep, dont feel too bad but these panic attacks aren't budging. Sometimes they go but i seem to think of them straight away and they come back.

Not very sure what to do. Deffo cut the drugs out forever now, serouisly messing me up.

You cant have panic attacks for ever can you? I have had it almost most of the 24 hours, not sure when it will stop.

Gonna go for a run in a minute see if that helps then maybe a sleep.

Starting to freak me out quite a bit especially since im all by myself and dont really want to drive somewhere just incase anything happens. Confused

the kind of weed that is around these days is a marvellous rabbit hole to panic attacks and other forms of social anxiety.

lay off the weed and if they keep happening you should seriously consider going for some Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.

in the mean time drink some orange juice - the vitamin c (i think) in it will help to combat the thc.

cheers

Mark stop or you will end up like i did, in the shrinks office wondering why your freaking out all the time! and having to admit to some smug git you took drug and lots of em sicne i was err young, while you get the anwer "you should not have" duh! there nothing that can help you but you, afraid you stuck with it and the more you take the worse you will get.

Noticed you didnt want to leave the house i was like this for two years when i left i thought something would happen, try it and you will see that nothing will, but you will bring on attacks, its all in the head.

know you dont particulary like me but i am just offering advice like i done the last time you had this problem up.

Mark.... you dozey twat.....havent we had the panic attack conversation before....... your panic attacks are all drug induced... end of chat.

Stop kidding yourself that you havent got a problem, of course its a problem, if its doing this to you. You are going to end up in right mess if you dont pack them in.

Best thing you can do, is burn some adrenalin off.......go running, or even just walking. It will distract you. The panic attacks are a chicken and egg situation.... the more you focus on them, the worse they will feel.

Just remember that they cannot hurt you and will pass.....try these breathing exercises, they will help you.

https://www.pe2000.com/breathe.htm

Because you are in such a anxious state, you will be breathing very shallow and holding your breathe, even if you dont think you are, which just fuels the situation.

Also there is a free helpline number for panic attacks, its 10am-10pm

0808 808 0545

and then there's always Talk to Frank.....they will talk you through the panic attack. Its anonymous too.

0800 77 66 00

Also, try and get some one to stay with you (preferably someone who isnt into drugs), if your parents are away.... cos if you are on your own, you will dwell on it, become more anxious and panic more.

Hope this helps.

I dont smoke cannabis very much at all i think i had too much.

They haven't been too bad, only really when i tink about them. Went to a wedding reception last night and had some more chang but i am gonna pack that in now. Done far too much charlie this weekend.

Pack them in for good i think with maybe the occasional cheeky line for a special occasion.

My parents are away this week so im gonna stay clean and do loads of exercise and should feel better soon.

I think your panic attacks are down to mummy and daddy being away. Don't you like bottled milk?

After doing some iffy acid I found myself getting an almost similar kinda feeling (no where near, really, though) when getting really stoned on weed.

Cannabis can have quite hallucinogenic properties (infact, mixed with lots of vodka, the only drug I've actually 'hallucinated' with as such). These days I know my limits and smoke enough to get pleasently chilled, rather than seriously caned.

Big come downs etc also definitely won't help.

I know I have busted in or your little drug chat and that I am only 16 but I thought I would tell you my expreiences. Since I was 12(yes 12) I started smoking weed. By the time I hit 16 I was smoking weed every day, and popping pills, taking charlie at least three times a week.

It all stopped when I sold some stuff that was bought for me by my mum. I went cold turkey and am now having drug counselling sessions once a week as well as piecing my life back together and saving up for a bike to get my mind off things.

So I in no was am ever going to take drugs ever again and I don't hate anyone that does but I suggest they get off em.

Good question, but that's what I was told.

Maybe had some other chemicals on there as well, or something?
(It was just a 'tab', nothing fancy)

This was the opinion of people that had done lots off Acid, not me.

My problems were partly because I wasn't in a good state of mind to do it I'm sure.

Laughing

A mate of mine's got a Kate Bush video with all her music videos on it, we used to munch pills every weekend and watch that, so funny but so weird at the same time.

I am right in thinking a panic attack is when you dont feel like yourself at all. Almost like a dream. You still can do things just dont think about it and cant remember what happened a few minutes ago without really thinking about it.

When they stop you feel fine again and cant remember them. Confused

Apparently they are your subconcious working instead.

Also doesnt help when i am in the house by myself for a few days. No one to talk to, take my mind off it.

Deffo going to the doctors unless it gets better. panic attacks for a whole weekend almost every minute of the day cant be goo.d

Nope, that sounds like a serious short-term memory problem and certainly something quite uncomfortable to live with but it doesn't sound like a panic attack.

If you were having a panic attack you would experience dizziness and possibly things would seem over-bright when you looked at them, you might be shaking or shivering, you would be short of breath (breathing quickly, almost panting, but feeling like you weren't getting enough air, bit like an asthma attack) and possibly have tightness in your chest and throat, butterflies in your stomach, you might even me sick or have diahorrea.

Hey Mark

I found one of the worst feelings when on a come down is having a bong and not really ‘needing’ a hit mate, if you smoke fags, do that instead.

markcatate wrote:

Mark, coming from someone who’s taken most things and learnt to deal with the after affects successfully, don’t cut all this out in one go, take class A out of the picture completely and continue to smoke a bit, cut this down gradually but just like you do with the coke, don’t become dependant on it.
If you stop the Ganja and go cold turkey you will have some strange days a few weeks later and judging by the way you’ve treated your head recently, it wont be easy, your brain doesn’t forget, although you are trying hard to make it.

markcatate wrote:
You can’t have panic attacks for ever can you? I have had it almost most of the 24 hours, not sure when it will stop.

Your 24 panic attack sounds like your just having a weird day where everything feels a bit ‘Matrix’, lol, I’ve had this loads and sometimes I’ve felt like even if I sleep it’s not going to go away. But seriously mate, it does, you need to relax, have a bath or something and pop a nice CD on.
Get through a couple of days with NO drugs and then after that maybe have a little smoke and relax some more.

[quote="markcatate"]Gonna go for a run in a minute see if that helps then maybe a sleep.

Your adrenaline and heart rate is all over the place still as the cocaine increases it and the THC lowers your sugar levels, it wouldn’t be a great idea to do that.

markcatate wrote:

Ok, I gave up the pills a few years back after a rave, I bought some pills off some dude who said he does them all the time and these surprised him, I dropped two and only came conscious again after about 5 hours still walking around like a prick.
It took me three hours to get home from Wales and I didn’t come out of the house for a week.
After which I really really didn’t need a class A hit but I thought I could smoke a bit of weed, it didn’t help at all and I was worrying to much about my health. Panic attacks have never got to me, I’ve never let them in, I see how and why they can happen but it doesn’t get to me.

Hope that helped a bit.
