It could be, or alternatively your battery might just be buggered. Sad

check it with a multimeter. check the voltage when the bike is off, when its running with nothing on and again with all the lights etc on and check the results. also rev the bike and check the voltage dosent go up anymore than the 14.5V area

anywhere like halfords, motorworld.... cant think of anymore national shops but anywhere thats sells electrical goodies really. i imagine even B&Q etc stock them.
expect to pay between £5-20 depending on quality and functions but even the basic 1's will have a voltmeter on

Evil or Very Mad Would anyone hapen to know the battery model for a Derbi Senda 125 R 4T 2003/4?
I have bought a derbi senda that needed a fair bit of electrical work doing after it was stollen and recovered, unfortunatly the battery was missing and i have tried everywhere to get a replacement battery but no one seems to know the correct battery type for the 125 they all list the 50cc battery but nothing else.
I have been reliably informed that there are 2 types of battery tray one has the battery lying down and the other has the battery sitting in the normal upright position which is what i have.
I was sold the lying down type but it isnt going to fit without a severe amount of battery tray butchery.
Any help would be much appreciated as i am at my wits end with such a minor problem.
I could use the 50cc battery but its far too loose for the tray and in my opinion too small for a bike that only has electric start.
i have a good as new battery for sale for all those with the laying flat type of tray.

Thanks
Kevin
