the daftest bike law ever is the fact you cannot have a fully tinted viser legaly but it can be 50% tinted how ever you are allowed fully tinted sun glasses, but it your riding and go througth a tunnle with a tinted viser you can flick it up yes? but if you have a clear viser and fully tinted sun glasses and go througth a tunnle you cannot just take them off; so hypotheticly it would be safer to have a tinted viser than sun glasses

Yes but.......You still get the nobbers that wear the black visor at night . Its easyer to remove sunglasses when it goes dark than change a visor (unless you are smart and buy a Shoe or Arai Wink ). If I am on a long run I always take my clear visor too, just in case.

Whay would you do with that? And just one? I prefer boots myself, but I've heard Shoei are on a par with Arai in the visor department....

yes it's a rubbish law, but yes it's still an endorsable offense. You'll even see some bike coppers using the "illegal" visors.

For about 30 quid you can get the light reactive ones (should've picked one up from flitwick when I saw it in the shop.. Sad ) which is the best of both worlds, especially if you wear glasses like me.
