Feeling quite happy with myself today. I passed my test with three minor faults. The examiner said "exellent ride, just three minors" (shrugs shoulders) "well I had to pick you up on something" (raise eyebrow).

I look forward to riding out with Richard (Greene) when he gets his GSXR750 this weekend.

Big thanks to the members for the advice given and the ' how to pass your test' sticky posts. Also a big thanks to Probike of Deeside (near Chester) for the tuition.

Gordon

Thanks for your kind thoughts everyone, much appreciated.

Old Geeza, still got a huge grin on my face, feels like I have a coat hanger wedged into my mouth.
Alec, I have a Suzuki GS500E ready and waiting, I'll tax it tomorrow morning, insurance is already sorted.
Catherine, I'll probably be popping over to Chesterfield with big Richard on Sunday to collect his GSXR750 but I look forward to meeting you and your friend soon. By the way, I got the autocom sorted.

Thanks again folks.

Thanks for you kind comments everyone. Went out on the bike today for a little spin. Really enjoyed it, took a few minutes to get used to it but what a buzz!

Richard, to be fair, the instructors were great. I had terrible cramp in my right leg on my first session and the instructors were very helpful, a truly professional bunch. I'd recommend them to anyone.

Regards

Gordy

Yea! Nailed my test today too, 3 minors as well - get in! Awesome feelin innit? Just been out on the ZX6R bit different to the GS500 I did my DAS on, but much much better! I've vowed never to do another U-Turn as long as I live, and if you get in my way and force me to do an emergency stop, you'd better bend over and kiss your arse goodbye - cos mine still suck! But I've got my license now for life (hopefully!) and it kicks arse! Well done us Thumbs Up Very Happy Thumbs Up

Good luck Chalky. Prepare for the 'show me, tell me' questions, if you get them all right you'll be off to a great start and feeling a little more confident.

Well done Bully! Only 3 minors is pretty good in my books. Enjoy and ride safe.

Well done to you too, Bully Thumbs Up

But, hey... Take my word for it, an emergency stop in real life is more dangerous to your own health than anyone elses Shocked

Just ride safe. And well done again on passing Wink
