I’m sorting some old stuff out for a car boot sale, my old dear needs the space now that I’ve moved out.

Brought back some memories, I thought I’d share some with you guys.
Feel free to comment on stuff you recognise and stuff you don’t!

So…..

What does M.A.N.T.A mean to you?

For me it meant only one thing, or actually 5 things, Multiple-Air-Naval-Terrain-Assault Force. Lol
Yeah, fuck your pirates, this was space war children, Good VS bad with an assortment of vehicles most of them fired small plastic missiles at each other and small space marine men went flying. Ha ha

https://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y278/Killa127/mantaforce.jpg

The good guys had this thing, a huge spaceship with loads of smaller vehicles, land, sea, air, oh and a motorbike with rockets….cant say fairer than that.

https://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y278/Killa127/redvenom.jpg

The bad guys had this dark looking machine, engine pods on the side came off, and a tank was also in there somewhere.

https://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y278/Killa127/mantaforcebase1.jpg

The base was loads of fun, it had this disc firing things that led on the floor and you pulled them back and released to fire, if you hit the targets the floors pop up and your guys go everywhere!

Long before Pokemon came ‘Monster in my pocket’…

Small, possibly highly toxic figures, all hideous monsters which compete against each other with their HP, the points were imprinted on their feet or back etc, highest points win or something, all I remember is beating up kids for them.….

List of all of them Wink Thumbs Up

Ok, anyone remember Starcom?

Didn’t find much on it

The toys were cool, magnetic men in space suits and vehicles, one toy had a lift on the back of it and when you placed a magnetic man onto it, it raised up, with no batteries…..
I found some on Ebay….

https://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y278/Killa127/9d_1.jpg

I have this big tank thing and I think it is really really rare….

https://s7.photobucket.com/albums/y278/Killa127/?action=view¤t=Toy.flv&refPage=&imgAnch=imgAnch1

Requires no batteries, it’s runs on magic

Remember this cute fella?

https://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y278/Killa127/mb80.gif

Boglins!

Used to scare the old dear with these things, you tuck your hand behind its head and you could move the mouth and stuff.

released ones

Recognise some of these…?

Mask

Wicked toys, never had a lot of them, dam expensive back then.

https://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y278/Killa127/MSK_TOY_GOL1.gif

These were some of the best toys around back then.

The only thing that came close in my opinion to Mask, was Transformers…

Ok, don’t start asking me if I’ll sell them, they aren’t mine…lol

https://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y278/Killa127/robots.jpg

The ones I found I couldn’t find on the net, I did have Optimus Prime though Dance!

A short lived cartoon show, a bit weird but I found the bike….

https://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y278/Killa127/biker-mice-from-mars.jpg

Ha…biker mice from mars

I had a full box of these things, I wouldn’t like to know how much I spent on them over the years, many many hours spent playing all over the house…

https://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y278/Killa127/66_1.jpg

Micro machines, I don’t remember when they appeared but they have release so many versions.

https://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y278/Killa127/e0_1.jpg

Visionaries

I didn’t remember these until I found some in a box.

I had some of the Real Ghostbusters toys, these were ace, and you could by the slime back then and poor it through the roof of the hideout.

I won’t post anymore, it’s taking me too long.
You can find some grea toys here…..

Jesus I remember that big red bird/plane thing that fired plastic rockets, my little brother had one of those. They're probably banned these days!
Also those Boglins, they were very good, thier moving eyes never ceased to entertain me!

I would think about getting them valued before you get shot of them, a few years ago I got rid of an original metal Captain Scarlet SPV van, still in its original box for £10. I was realy pleased to make that much on it until I found out it was worth well over 10x that much. Evil or Very Mad
