I have a leaflet about working for the above company
It says they are looking for people to work flexible hours in the day/evening to deliver parcels to peoples homes at times that are more convenient to them (ie after normal work hours)

Has anyone any experience of working for this company ?

I guess it would take a lot of thinking about as you are using your car, fuel, phone, etc...
Also if they would pay your tax and NI as you are 'self employed' sort of

Cheers !

Thanks for that

Contacted the company anyway...
sounds like a bit of a swizz to me
You get 60p for each parcel you successfully deliver
For that, you have to pay fuel... etc
You also have to be in your home before 2pm every day to collect any parcels that need delivering
so my other part time job is out of the question there

SO basically, if I get say... 10 parcels a day, (well, evening to deliver)
I could earn up to £6 for a days work
minus all the fuel costs etc..

I can't be bothered with that Thumbs Down
No wonder they are recruiting ! Very Happy

I used to work for White Arrow (now Reality) a few years ago. When work was subbed out like that, most of the deliveries would be in the same area, so you could have 10 deliveries in 1 street. Unless DHL have gotten into the home shopping game, I'd be surprised if there would be that sort of concentration.

This new system is for people who aren't in during the day and request a time out of work to get the parcel delivered (as I understand it)
So my feeling is that it would be quite a select service
They also said on the phone that my area is a high one (all of Coventry etc..) so I could be sent anywhere in a vast proximity

I just felt it wasn't worth the hassle

If it was about 10 houses in a street, then about 30 streets in a small area, it would be cool Thumbs Up
