Jammy Bastard!

Seriously nice machine...i'm saving up for a 6RR at the moment but might a 929 or a 954 Blade, how does it compare to the RR?

Here I was thinking over a year ago as I stood in the carpark at the Nurburg ring.

"Those 954's look the deal, they look almost as sporty as my 600RR, they look slightly bigger, and perhaps even might be more suitable for touring a little further than my revvy little 600."

Was I ever wrong, it's slightly wider, same length, feels the same to ride to me although I have yet to take it on a track. The only thing I like a little more that was bugging me on the 600 was that this bike has a nice bit more grunt (torque) such that I dont have to drop it to mad revvs all the time.

Love the exhaust, love the bike, reccomend it Smile

But, get the 600RR to start with, cheaper to insure and still one hell of a bit of kit to have some fun with.

Thats a very nice bike. Not so sure about the rim tape - more something you would see tackifying a gixxer than a refined blade Wink

May I also say that is one VERY tidy garage. Almost shouldn't be allowed that Laughing

The sort of bike I'd dream of having, a big stonking, litre fire breathing sports bike. Of course I'd ride it like a wuss as would be scared sensless of it.

Ditch the tape please, it ruins it and makes it look cheap.

Cheers for the post Yannic, karma in your direction.

However, i've ridden an RR and you're right, it's FANTASTIC to have a blast on the only thing i'm worried about is the practicality of it for touring purposes.

I live in Dubai and next summer i plan on shipping whichever bike i buy back to UK for summer to tour on so which bike is better for touring out of the two?

Cheers
