Remmber how, a few months back, my gf and I split up? (well.. she broke it off)

we've stayed very good friends, and last night I stopped by for a chat, and to offer a hug/shoulder as she was having a tough time recently, not helped by a guy she's been seeing by being less than sensitive.

Seems we both still have relatively strong feelings for each other, so are going to give it another go.

This feels right.

I've been out with other girls over the last few months, and none of them have lived up to emfi

So it can happen then! I would do anything to be back with my ex girlfriend. Saw her last night and we just talked, held hands and held one an other like we used to. Didnt kiss or anything. Just i was feeling a bit down last night and she was a bit under the weather, so decided go for a drink after work.

But one day i realised it would never happen and i got on with my life.

Well made my Mind up, while she was away on holiday, i felt so much more at ease because we didnt contact eachother. And i can do with out the thoughts of " What if id done this/that" if its meant to be, then we'll be together. Just need to let go, which i had started to do untill yesterdays, moment of weakness.

Just to make you feel even better,
Me and my EXE have been "together" for 7 years now.

When ever we lived together after about 2 years, we would have had enough of each other. and I'd move out. then we would both mope around for a few months, missing each other. before ending up back together.

The last time we broke up i hardly saw her for over 6 months (even though we did the promise to be friends thing).

then, and i can't remember why, we meet up one day and had a good talk. Since then we really have been the best of mates. And although it was hard at first being a close friend to some one who means a lot more than that to you. we managed to get through it.
Now we really are the best of mates, and get on better now than we ever did when we were going out.

We talk lots and i think we both know where we stand. I think we are both happier than we have been in years at the moment. And if something developed more between us, then it does. but at the moment its just nice
Lots of people say being friends with your exe don't work. but it has worked fine for me. Takes a lot of work but can be worth it.

I hope things work out for you mate. You sound like this is some thing you really want. and if i was you i would start it with a clean slate. every thing out in the open, and both of you knowing what you want. One thing i found was that wanting different things and not talking about it. is not the makings of a happy relationship
