i believe there is a higher rate of crime on smaller cc machines. my kmx125 was stolen from outside a police station .
maybe they realise they may seriously hurt themselves if they jump on a bigger bike (fast bike + small intelligence = lots of pain)
no problems with the sv650. probably cosi put at least one lock on it. if in a city, normally a chain lock and a disc lock go on it.

i left my piggy typhoon out in my driveway one night, hidden behind my sisters car, and i never ever saw it again
People will get kicked off, knifed, shot or whatever it takes to get the bikes. There all after Piaggio NRG's (50/70), Piaggio Typhoon's (50/70/125/172) and gilera runner's (50/70/125/172/180) ____________________ - Typhoon ?0 - Yamaha DT125R - Aprilia SR125 - Yamaha DT125R - Honda Hornet 600 - |

Small cc (ie <250cc) bikes are targets for small time criminals (chavs), particularly those that are off road style machines because they can be used as field bikes. Chavs wont nick your big cc sprts machine because they wont know how to ride it. Newer bikes tend to attract big time crooks with specialist tools and vans etc. the best place to be is with a big bike thats worth nowt. The chavs wont bother because its too big for them, the big time specialists wont waste their time. ____________________ Bluespark Automotive - Diesel Tuning for Performance and Economy |
