Does anyone have one?

I made one years ago in my teen years, but have recently dug it out after my mums death earlier this year.

I'm glad to see even back then it had a special bike related section Thumbs Up

So does anyone have a bike related list of things to do before you die?

Mine has been (for about the last 15 years) to get my bike license and get a bike. Part one is now done, and part two will hopefully be soon. Suppose i then have to come up with a new one Mr. Green

Yip, started it not long after my dad died.

It is very dynamic in that i add to it as things cross my mind.

Tell you what though, it does force you to do things rather than saying next year will do.

I have done loads, from simple stuff to going to new york this year for st patricks day.

I can't stoppie but lifting the rear wheel is easy, brake hard, to the point you think you shouldn't brake any harder but do it anyway, once you get used to the feeling of how hard you should brake it's easy to get the rear to lift.

At a recent Bikesafe event the instructors had everyone lifting their rear wheels off the deck, its fairly easy to do, but being able to carry that rear wheel high and long is another story

Cripes I don't like it when the forks dip too low let alone bottoming out and lifting the ares into the air.

I used to be able to do stoppies on my bmx and then go into a "decade" tail whip type job. But binning a bmx is fine, binning my dream machine is a different kettle of fish....

Oh I want to surf a 15+ foot wave one day as well.....

If your forks are bottoming out i recommend you take a look at your suspension setup Confused

I have about 5mm of travel left on mine after getting the rear wheel about a foot in the air

Nah not had any problems on my Gixxer, but then haven't tried stoppies on it yet either. Most of the time it's fairly relaxed one finger braking.....

Used to bottom out on just about every other hunk of junk I've ridden though. There was a CB500 I borrowed from a test centre that used to bottom out with a really meaty thunk noise on even the slightest bit of breaking, and you could actaully pull the suspension all the way up or force it all the way down with just your body weight.....

Ooh though of another life time ambition, ride a skidoo across a lake like a jet ski.....
