Well i sat here thinking about the cbr 400 i have in the garden. And i got thinking on the codes that honda use ie nc23 for the tri arm. Ok i know most of the 400s have this honda wise. But i mean what happened to the 20 odd before the vfr google doesnt shed any light on it. It would be kewl to know but it may just be one of those things that are to be lost to time Laughing .

I'd imageing its todo with the prototypes of each bike?

Some very interesting things must have gone through r&d at honda.. example..

One prototype of the cx was an aircooled 360cc engine in a frame like a superdreams.. another prototype had a supercharger Shocked (some parts later put to use in the later turbo cx) this was the late 70's.

Really does make you wonder what bizzare contraptions weren't considered for mass production, considereing these got to actual working prototype stage..
