Laughing

Finally got round to taking a few pics of my CBR600FR which I bought about a month ago. 1994, 18K miles. I'm really pleased with it - sure its a bit dated but its still a great all round machine with decent handling and power (for a 600).

Its really clean for a 12 year old bike - if it wasnt for the plate you'd think it was half the age.

Planning to get a double bubble screen next week, other than that I think I'll just keep it standard. I have a micron can that came with it whcih I put on for a couple of weeks. Sounded great on the open road with the revs up but just plain annoying around town.

Looks cool, not sure on the grey and pink Thinking

I know exactly what you mean with the race can. My Leo Vince one sounds the nuts when revving it quite hard, but its still too loud when at 30 in town, a little annoying me thinks Rolling Eyes

its not so much the loudness I dont like but the tone. At high revs it sounds great but at low town revs it sounds, well..... a bit naff. Suppose I could always stay in first around town Smile

Congratulations, it’s a great bike (biased of course because I also own a '94 FR) and you seem to have picked up a lovely example.

Mine is not quite that pretty. Nine winters (in my care anyway) and 80,000 miles have taken the edge off the finish, but it still brushes up nicely. Very well put together bikes.

Enjoy Very Happy Thumbs Up

Why not?

It was a class leader in its day, outsold all other /sports/ 600's. then spawned the 600rr.

It deserves classic status.
