Anyone know what time shops/ 24 hour supermarkets stop selling booze. Is it still 2300 ?

Some can now sell alcohol all round the clock, check with your local supermarket.

He fell off his bike and wanted to pour whiskey over the wound, they do it in the movies..

Supermarkets round here used to stop about 10, not bought alcohol late since the 24hr law came in so don't know if that's changed.

Depends what licence the shop has applied for. My local Tesco has a 24 hour licence (except on Sundays, of course, when it has to shut completely).

on the other hand our local 24h Tesco wont let you buy booze after 21:45.
