Seen another bike (Last one went for too much)
Bike isnt the prettyest in the world but its a start.
Mentions full rebuild ect ect.
Just want some advice if you can about it. What price would you pay ect.

Well the guy is suggesting a Buy it now of £1000 which seems too much. I wouldn't pay the £500 starting price for the age since it has no MOT and has had a homemade respray.

I'd only pay a little more than the starting price, best thing to do is go and see it, ride it and then offer a private sale.

I was too thinking 500 is prolly the highest I would go.
Ive seen so many bikes I like. Even a 50 TZR but, its just getting the TZR back from Brighton.
I will think about it. Its an OK bike but I guess there will be better priced ones on the market.

Last one on EBAY sold for £620 for a '94 with similar mileage.

Photos make everything look nice although the paint job looks a bit matt. Only way your going to know is to go and take a look.

i personally wouldnt bid on it without MOT, if i hadnt viewed it. It may end up costing you an extra £300 or more to pass the MOT

I would not get it for the sheer fact its an old aprilia. I had a G reg aprilia tuareg (dirt bike type thing), and whilst it was an ace bike and bloody quick for a 125, it needed a new oil pump and rear disk whilst i had it : £400 from Italy as you just can't get the parts for them.

I'd stick with the big names, yamaha suzuki etc.

It's a 16-year old bike that's going to be near-impossible to get parts for. Looking at the pics the headlight doesn't line up in the fairing properly, which indicates a bent fairing brace.

I'd leave it well alone!

i need some help with my tzr 50. It starts fine and performs brill on a straight but even the smallest of inclines on the road cause massive power loss. The bike will not accelerate but just boggs down. I have tried everything from checking carb, changed plug, air filter, carb settings even exhaust. I have ran outa ideas hope someone can help

I use ebay alot, but I won't use it to buy a bike. I don't think the prices are nesc better. I'm gonna shoot to some dealers, tell them by specification and see what they come up with.

I have been advised it's a buyers market and its fair to say if your a cash buyer you should be able to knock price down a bit. So, don't overpay - bide your time.

I try not to use Ebay for bikes but I looked for bargains.
I got mine for 600 with 12 months tax and 12 months Mot.
