Well i like my music and the challenge of setting up my stuff right, stereo imaging, soundstage, getting the bass right etc.... getting it all working together and sounding good in the only room i can... bloody hard when you have a smallish room.

Anyway i've only got crappy stuff at the moment

Arrow Rotel RA-01 Amp
Arrow Shitty Philips CD player (god i wish i still had my Arcam stuff, so warm sounding!)
Arrow B&W DM601 S3's
Arrow REL Q100E Subwoofer

Arrow Homemade Bass Traps to sort out bass issues in such a small room

Looking at trying to find a set of 2 stone plinths to sit the speakers on as obviously sitting them on other speakers is no good Confused

So far it's sounding ok but i need to play about with the positioning of the sub as it's not quite right for some music but great for others Confused

Pics of the bass traps etc, they work wonders btw and if you have problems with sound in your room i highly suggest you buy some or make some.. mine aren't mathematically tuned just made up Thumbs Up (oh and excuse the mess Embarassed )

anyway post yours! Mr. Green

Unit made by yours truly Smile

I have no issues with bass because my music isn't really bass intensive in the first place. Plus it is in a big room with squishy furniture.

I just use the PC or PS2 to play CD's, of which I have around half a dozen.

PC can play and record off the Amp.

Ive not got any "bass traps" as such. Just running an F off set of PA speakers which are suitable for a club. A Pair of Hi fi Speakers mounted up on the wall, and A pair of front surround speakers running either side of my TV.

6 speakers in total, Running from a 6ch kenwood Amp with built in Surround sound and bass engine. Good ol` amp!

I bought the Sony AV amp for the sole purpose of pumping out the sounds from my DVDs. I have found in the last year that I'm listening to 10 times more music than I ever did, so I upgraded my speakers a bit.

I used to have this pair of Kef Q35.2 speakers as my main ones, but they are now used as my rear speakers.

I just recently bought these Kef Q5 speakers and I have to say that they piss all over my other ones. The difference in bass is hard to believe.

I have a Kef Q6c for my centre speaker but I don't use a subwoofer because the amount of base with one, is just stupid. Laughing
