well the peds probably worth about a grand, maybe 1200.

do you definately want to get a 125? or would you rather just do your test and get a proper bike.

planet 125 is supposed to be an ok bike, but to be honest all the 125s offer similar performance and reliabilty, so just sit on a few, see which one feels nice, and get it. or get whatevers cheapest.

Hi Cassy, from what I have heard the Cagiva is a fairly good bike, however like all Cagiva spares are a complete bitch to get (I've been waiting 8 months for a part for my V-Raptor). A lot of the people on here swear by the NSR 125.
As for how much you will get for the ped, I've no real idea, but a grand sounds about right.

How old are you? I'd think about getting something bigger than a 125 if I were you.

I think the NSR's your best bet, second hand one if you haven't got enough to buy a £3,000 brand new one.

well if your budget is holding you back, buy summat cheap- Yamaha TZR 125 is probably the fastest of the 125s, altho these kids with expensive NSRs and RS125s won't admit it, and you can get a nice one for about 700 quid on ebay. It may have shot piston rings, but even luke could fix that.

alternatively theres the NS125, which is just the predecessor to the NSR - i had one, it was fine for a 125. There the suzuki RG125, which is ... also a 2 stroke 125, or theres the old model NSR.

No reason to pay more than 700 quid if you keep an eye on biketrader and ebay. The joy is then that you can sell it at a profit if your a bit crafty.
