I'm looking at for a new bike, like the look of a cbr 400 for insurance reasons. Other option is a hornet 600 with another 50% for tpf+T.
In this months ride mag there was a thing saying the cbr is a bit small but people under 6foot rarely complain, does that mean I will have trouble with trying to wrap my long legs around her?
thanks
J

I wouldn't imagine so mate.

Just make sure you have short legs and a long body Laughing

But if i was you, go sit on a few and play about, see what you think... Then you'll know for sure if its suited to yourself.

no ones opinions here can decided for yourself.

Give Craig a PM, he's tallish and seemed to quite like the cbr4 for comfort.

I'm 6'2" and used to ride an NC30, never really struggle with comfort evn over longer distances its just that I used to make the bike look extra small (Ropehead told me i off the NC30 as if it were a minimoto Embarassed )
The CBR has a slightly different riding position (can't remember exactly how different, think the pegs were slightly further back?) but overall size is very similar and you should manage okay at 6'3".

Having said that different people must bend in different ways as some people (of about 5'10") say that the VFR makes wrists ache, which was never really a problem I suffered with either, perhaps I just didnt ride my bike enough or something.

Jeeeese! this thread is amusing.
it made laugh reading that Kev nearly made V cry on her own bike Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing that is sooo funny, sorry V if that is cruel Sad . And Jay your mate better grip the tank hard with his knees or get some extra thick tank foam! Wink Very Happy

And in general I find the NC quite confortable and im 6ft but everyone know and then I do suffer a little from acheing wrist but never get it if I moving around on the bike though.
