new to this bike HELP how the hell do you remove the seat sounds daft i know but i am a novice

Below the seat towards the rear number plate is a lock (helmet lock), use you ignition key, turn 180 degrees and pull the lever, just to the side, down about a inch and releases the lock. Pull the seat away from the tank towards the rear of the bike.

just pointing out, when you shut the seat make sure that the clips under the pillion seat slide in properly before you push the seat in fully, otherwise the seat wont lock properly, hope that makes sense,

it was a mistake i kept making and i came back to find my seat open once :/
