If you smoke weed you may have, and it's the reason your finding it hard to get hold of some smoke at the moment.

Literally everybody i know is dry, word on the street is, the raids were worth approx 100 million! Shocked

I only get through about an 1/8th every 6 weeks but I will be needing to purchase soon so better hop to it! It can be a bugger waiting for mates of mates....

In my home town there was a 'cafe' (the second of two) that openly sold weed to any over 18s. It was eventually raided after about a year but the police were aware of it for a long time.

The first one that opened was quite well meaning, the bloke was a bit of a 'legalize it' hippy campaigner. That lasted about a year.
The second one was more of a money making operation, heavy security, double steel doors and cameras checking people coming in. Queues of people buying £10 bags. they were raking it in literally hand over fist.
I think it only closed eventually because the building was knocked down to build flats.
They're probably doing the same elsewhere but I've not heard of it yet.
Does anyone else have a similar thing near to them?

i agree with killa its been a nightmare i dont know whats happened or whos got busted i cant get any for love nor money. so its not just in the north west.
the annoying thing is i can get everything else its just the smoke i cant get. why have they done that it should be the other way round.

Not that i smoke the stuff anymore but from friends i've heard there is none to very little here in northern ireland either.

Its could be the cops or maybe the loyalists/republicans are feeling a bit guilty and have stopped supplying the dealers as sometimes this happens.

I'd have at a guess that it's something to do with general world events.

Most weed's grown in the UK by immigrants rather than imported, but anyone asian is now watched more closely by their neighbours and soceity so are more likely to be noticed coming and going from cannabis factories at all hours carrying strange equipment and reported to the cops for looking suspicious or some crap like that.

So now people who hate multiculturalism and immigration now have a chance to report anything which looks like it could be suspicious. Police can get away with more at the moment without worrying about "civil liberties" or "political correctness" as well.

Cops don't have to be specfically looking for weed, but if people are reporting suspicious asians gathering at an address late at night often arriving carrying strange things then they're going to look into it.

What a great nanny state we live in. Rolling Eyes

dry round these parts as well i dont smoke but a few lads at work are fiending for it at the moment.

i heard they were stopping all the lorrys carrying it in from europe due to all the 9/11 7/11 terrorist attacks so you can blame the muslims for it.

a lad at work managed to score some pakistani black still wrapped up from the late 90's the other day.
