revving problem

hi,i have just rebuilt my engine for my dtr 125 and just finished putting it all together,but when i start the bike up it just ticks over with choke on but as soon as i let the choke of and rev it it dies straight away even though the bike is warmed up.i have cleaned out the jets with an air gun but it still does it.could this be an air leak or is there something else it might be. Thumbs Up

Air leak would be most likely.

The engine must be running very lean, and the choke is compensating. Check the carb rubbers and make sure you have a good seal on inlet stub and carb.
