Im supposed to be on 1MB unlimited broadband from NTL, but recent speed tests and downloads show that I can download at 170kb/s with an average speed of between 1.6 and 2Mb/s.


Anybody else notice this? The NTL website still confirms that I am on 1Mb.

are they still offering 1mb?

i thought they had upped all their packages now. i went from 512 to 1mb to 2mb to 3mb all without paying a thing.

They just upgrade. From what i hear soon everyone will be on the same speed and the price just effects your download limit.

that will be 10Mb for everyone!

Sky broadband even though a blistering fast 16mb, will be upgraded to 24mb soon apparently.

16mb broadband with no download cap? At £10 a month you say? Yes please!

Shame they aren't introducing it round my neck of the woods for a while.

Stuck with shitty 2mb for now. Smile

I was on the phone to them the other day, the 1mb is all being upgraded to 3mb and the 3mb upto 10mb. Not all is bad with NTHell! Thumbs Up

i went from 512kb > 2mb > 4mb withouth paying a thing,

i think NTL are great we cancelled our broadband at the end of may and it hasnt stopped working yet Mr. Green three months free broadband so far and may it continue Thumbs Up

knowing NTL they can eat the peanuts out of my shite first.

they did the same thing to me the time before that when i moved house and it lasted 6 months before they "tried" to get me to pay up for their error...suffice to say they didnt succeed Thumbs Up Cool

i dunno but my Nildram is getting slower and cuts out a lot, I think theyre succking my band width for someone else bastids.
