Best 50cc bike?

Got a Speedfight at the moment but really would prefer a bike. Comfort, position, gears and the fact Im a bike, not a scooter!

My question is, which should I go for. Old or new, I dont mind. Just after something that looks nice and isnt too small. The Yamaha TZRs look nice but I wondered if theres anything older which is better... A boxy faired bike would be nice!

So what would you say is the best 50cc to have?

How nearly 17 are you?

Personally i'd have a honda cub 50, cheap, ludirously reliable and not as likely to be stolen as most 50's there was a geared, semi auto and full auto afaik..

(it wont be snapping any knicker elastic mind)

Just found pics of a 50cc NSR which looks like something I am after.. But none on ebay to base price on.

I was 16 in May so a fair bit off 17. If I cant find anything better than my Speedfight, ill just end up keeping that till I find one, or can drive!

Just wondered what peoples opinions on older bikes were Very Happy

fast little bikes although many have been bought up to use for moped racing as they can be almost completely de-restricted using a honda melody cdi unit!
