I'd say too young, all depends what you're after though and how you've met them.

I'd be pissed off if my 16 year old sister came home with a 20yr old guy. I'd say he's too shy to deal with girls his own age, so he's going for easy targets and defo isn't in it for the long run.

Think about how much you've changed in the last 4 years. When you're a bit older 4 years is nothing, but now it's pushing it.

It's legal though, so I guess your safe. Just make sure its not my sister.

Rick.

I say its ok, just. makes more difference how big the gap is when your young 4 years difference at 20 is fine afterall, will it be weird when shes 21 and your 25? no.
My stepmother is 28, my dad is 46, i think Confused
Theres less of an age gap between me n her but its all normal i still see her as a stepmom.

Depend's how mature both of you are.

I've never been out with anyone younger than me, always at least a few month's older, normally about a year older. I've always been a gumpy old bastard on the inside though.

It's legal so not going to get any problem's in that respect. If she looks 16 and doesnt have ID going out to pub's etc may be a problem that could cause issue's.

Well she seems a lovely, bit quiet but genuinely lovely person.

I like her but i just dont wanna jump into anything too soon just yet, because ive just split up with my gf of 2 years.

Id like to go out and get pisses with her , have fun, and do stuff together. And she agrees.

This is the first really young girl ive been out with, so just wanted people oppinions. Usually go out with 18/19/20 yr olds or girls older than me.

I was 15 and seeing a 19 year old and we were together for over four years(and we got engaged)...until I was 19 and cheated on him with his mate Embarassed

my parents never had a problem with it as there is a four year age gap between them.

So in short I say go for it and have fun Thumbs Up

Completly depends on the girl in question, if she is mentally and pysically mature for her age then OK. but if she is like most 16 year olds they are still kids mentally.

Still a kid in my book.

I'd steer well clear and let someone her own age have a go. Theres plenty of nice 20 year olds about to be getting on with. Or perhaps its her naievitey and immaturity that attracts you to her, in which case at least she'll be half price at the cinema.

And it depends on the bloke in question, I'd he is mentally and physically mature for his age then OK. But if he is like most 20 year old blokes they are still kids mentally!! Laughing
Kidding by the way

I can't see a problem with a 16 year old girl and a 20 year old bloke but I do have a problem with how quickly you are looking at getting back into a relationship after your last one. (At least I hope that you're not just planning on shagging about with said 16 year old as that WOULD be wrong)
Remember that you will more than likely be on the rebound (even if you're not aware of it) and TBH I think that you should spend a bit more time just being a typical 20 year old. Do something with your life, enjoy yourself, go places and see things.
Another really good question that you have to ask yourself is that were you to get into a relationship with this girl, would you be expecting to have a physical relationship with her? Of course you would, (again that comes with the territory of being a 20 year old) Could you and would you be able to trust her with regards to birth control? At 16 would you have been ready to settle down with one person? Is she considering college, or Uni? Would you take the p1ss out of one of your mates if they got it on with a 16 year old? All of these questions need considering, but I think the most important one is, when all is said and done, do you really think it's worth getting into a relationship with her?

No one can tell you what to do, you need to take a long hard look at your situation and decide what is best for you! Cool

Give it some thought really, and although yes i like her and she likes me. I dont think it would be such a good idea either. My mate is currently going out with someone of the same age and started seeing her when she was 15 and he was 19 and that in my eyes was pretty wrong. Id just be contradicting myself if i went out with someone who's the same age.

Ive been out with a wide range of girls, some a fair few years older than me, some and youngest girl ive been out with is my ex who was 17 when we started going out.

I like the girl alot, but she seems very very clingy, and i dont no if i could handle that, because i like to go out with my mates, and id also if we did get together like her to go out with her mates also, because that is normal.

And 2 months in all honesty, is that too soon to jump from a 2 year relationship straight into another one?

Don't really see too much of a problem with the age gap, i'm 4 years older than my BF, BUT, 16 is young and her outlook will prob def be different to yours. Its one thing saying, you'll just be seeing each other, having fun etc (no pubs don't forget, she's still got 2 years to go Laughing ) but i can almost guarantee that she'll be far clingyer (is that a word? Confused ) than you'd like. It'll be "cool" to her to have an older fella.

Do what makes you happy in the end, just think about the long term effects Mr. Green

Either that, or take her out, get her drunk and have your way with her, just make sure he's covered up Twisted Evil

I started going out with a girl who was 15 when i was 23, we lasted over 5 years and those years were great, however the reason we split was to do with the age difference. I was devastated at the time i'll add.

Not long after she turned 21 she decided that she didn't want to waste whats left of her youth being tied to just me, so she upped, left and travelled the world and experienced other men.

I have no regrets with spending over 5 years with her though, but i wished i'd met her when she was old enough to settle down with.

But morally theres nothing wrong with seeing a 16 year old when your 20 mate

I was seeing a 17 year old when I was 22, but as with Dark, she decided she wanted her independance and went travelling, then away to university.

As mentioned earlier, a lot depends on her maturity, as well as your own outlook

My old house mate was seeing a 17 year old when he was 32. He was happy, she was happy. As long as your not a cunt and both parties are cool then fuck it IMO. The only thing issue is other peoples narrow mindedness.

I may see her for a bit, nothing too serious. But its entirely up to her.

Ive done all this meeting people, shagging etc from a early age 14 onwards. Now i just wanna find someone who i really like and have a quite long relationship, go out do stuff etc, go on holidays etc.

May just wait till the one comes along, i mean its been 2 months since split up with ex, so there isnt any rush is there to get into another relationship.

I just dont wanna hurt this lil 16 year old, because she doesnt deserve it.

Old enough to bleed, old enough to breed.

Just kidding.

I wouldn't go looking for a long term relationship with a 16 year old.
