I love it!

Not sure about the crash bars yet though some R+Gs might look better?

Nice bike!

The R&G's might look better, but are you expecting to drop it? The engine bars on the loaned CBF I had did a great job when I dropped it on a tight low-speed corner - no visible damage, result.

OK, they didn't do much when I slammed it into the side of a Mitsubishi Colt a week later, but there weren't nothing going to save the bike then Embarassed

do you know about the owners club forum?

Enjoy the new ride

Leave the engine bars on - sods law says that the day after you take them off you will drop the bike. (i dont mean you in particular its just how it goes)

Nice one Catherine.

How's it going?

Are you finding it OK?

And FWIW I'd leave the bars on too, they don't look that bad. Thumbs Up

Nice one Catherine, same colour as mine, blue looks nice imo. So how you getting on with it then? Keep the bars on for now, you are lucky yours came with them, my baby does not have any protection, keep telling myself I ought to at least get the crash bungs just incase, you never know eh.
Happy riding then, enjoy Thumbs Up

hi guys! Well the weather has been awful here with really bad rain so I only got a small ride in yesterday when it arrived. First impressions are its really really fast! Twisted Evil

Only had a short 20 mile ride on it but I loved it once I had got the hang of the clutch etc. Hoping for another ride soon

Nice bike!! looks like you got a good deal, not only because the bike it immaculate but because you got all the decent useful accessories that you would prob end up buying anyway - Crash protection, hugger, flyscreen and rear rack Thumbs Up

Keep the crash bars on btw as it's a an In Line 4 engine - it sticks out either side so go down the road on it's side for more than a meter and its hole the engine casing time! Thats a complete engine strip down job... not cheap Shocked Mad

took it on the motorway last night it as ace!!! Wind didnt bother me too much from the front but the side wind OMG shat myself at one point going past a lorry! and talk about wind when ur do a life saver!!!

but throughly enjoyed it felt so much more relaxed on the bike. Gave it some welly catch my brother in his car hit a ton before I realised it certainly didnt feel like it!!
Corners - need to work on these before I can take them at anything over 40 - 50.

Overall excellent ride UNTIL

I nearly dropped it getting it in the shed omg it just pure fell away from me so i fell back to pull the bastard back up luckly my counter weight stopped it as did the shed door but i pull my arm muscle and nearly popped my knee cap out as it pivoted on it. Need to be more careful putting her away.

Laughing heh. I thought that. First ride after I bought the thing, I had almost 120 on the clock on the east lancs near Leigh and stupidly looked in before I pulled in (like anyone was gonna be coming up the inside!)
