This 25 year old GPz 750 turbo (810cc big bore) today went an astonishing 204.7mph, at RAF woodbridge. Now that's what I call impressive. Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Congrats to Lorcan. Is that the fastest 750 in the UK? Can't be many sub 1000cc bikes that can break the double ton?

It's an intercooler.

Pretty cool, though i shouldn't imagine it's too hard to do if you spend 3 grand. I guess it runs about 250bhp?

I could well be wrong, but i think that's the turbo intercooler, slightly different from a rad.

I bet it sounds awesome with the screamer pipe. Used to have one on the car and that sounded like a jet taking off.

It was origianally posted that the bike did 204.7 at RAF woodbridge, it is entirely possible that the guy could have done a faster run, and not posted it on all oif the internet.

Quite impressive considering the rather narrow rear, round profile tyre and lack of wheelie bar.

Is that a tie down strap dangling against the side of the mudguard? Shocked may be worth removing when going down the strip...

I doubt it would be wheelying at 200mph and Woodbridge is two miles long, so no need for monster acceleration! Wink

I believe that's there to compress the front forks, so it's there on purpose, not because someone's forgotten to remove it after getting the bike out of a van.
