I am not referring to these people:

https://hitparade.ch/cdimg/europe-the_final_countdown_s.jpg

I am of course referring to the fact that on the 19th Sept I depart for an attempt to start a new life in New Zealand.

Flights from Manchester to Singapore, Singapore to Auckland, then Auckland to Wellington.

I've already got some appointments with recruitment agencies lined up for the day after I arrive. We've also got an appartment booked in Wellington for a few weeks while we find something out in the suburbs.

Now I need a car, then a job followed by an R6 Thumbs Up

Best of Luck to you - I genuinely hope things go your way Thumbs Up

Good luck Thumbs Up

My mate went over in February to start a new life in Auckland. He's having a great time and loving the chilled out life style. Hopefully I'll get over to see him next year Smile

Good luck, and much respect as I think it takes a lot of balls to do something like that.

Thanks. We're resonably open minded about what we are doing. If things don't work out we're just going to come back, and all we've had is a nice long holiday.
I spent 3 months in 2001 in Ghana working as a labourer on a local building site, so if it comes down to it - I'll come back via there and do another 3 months or so.

Good luck fella Thumbs Up

Its something that my family and I have been planning for a couple of years now but USA instead of down under. Its a brave step, as you've said, if its not what you want then come home.

You dont know unless you try Wink
