Test Drive - XBox 360

I've been asked by a mate to recommend some games as he's gonna by a XBox 360 next week.

Any demos of this about, it looks the nuts!

Anyone got any recommendations on any other good games. I know Saints Row is meant to be good, same with Rising Dead, tough my mate played the demo and said it did get a bit boring after a while.

One released ages ago that's crippled to five minutes.

One released this week that's an hour long.

Don't play with the bike, it's laughable.

You can get it from Demo's on Xbox 360 Marketplace.

Dead Rising looks brilliant, I don't think it's _ALL_ set in the shopping mall.

Saints Row is brilliant, people have been saying it's a clone of GTA but the graphics are much better, couldn't care less whether it's a clone or not.

amped is AWESOME if you're into snowboarding

HL2 is available, NFS carbon is out if you like car racing, Perfect Dark Zero is also amazing....

there's loads out for it already.

I think he's after racing, and to see if theres a good golf game out.

I know he's not overly manic on FPS's

Test drive is can be compared to Saints row in the same sense that both their demos sucked. But the actual gold releases were very good indeed.

If your'e going to use a bike in TDU, make sure to turn the steering sensitivity all the way up, makes riding a bike like childsplay

But forgetting that, i got Dead rising in the post today and i'm addicted

COndemned is a scary as fuck game mate. but it has to be played on your own, in the dark, with the volume up to get the full effect.

Kameo is a good Platform type game, very colourful and you can change characters whenever you want ( each one has different powers/skills)

Also go for Saints row, it's a clone of San Andreas but better IMO

If your into your car games then go for, Project Gotham Racing and need for Speed most wanted, Project gotham is all about driving to perfection, it's basen on a Karma basis where you get points for perfect line through corners, heavy braking etc.

need for Speed is a high pursuit game with lots of action in it, fully customisable cars, Nos, Spinners, police chases, the usual..

i second both NC30's recommendations there.

PGR is insane!!
and NFS "most wanted" is deadly - although it's only an XBOX title the 360 does some trickery to bump up the graphics even more.

NFS carbon is the new 360 version but i haven't played it yet - it's pretty much a given that it's gonna be wicked.
