novice with the hope of being moved to inters.

better to go up a group than be moved down Embarassed

also would be first track day... so I think they'd make me go in novice

got to wait until Feb 17th...
I'm hoping fir a mild spring, in the mean time I'm going uni at lincoln so will be at cadwell watching a fair bit.

I can't see why they don't let restricted licence holders into the novice groups, there is usually someone bimbling around pretty slowly anyway so the speed of a restricted bike shouldn't be an issue Confused

I've booked myself into the advanced group for the first time, done three trackdays at Cadwell all in intermediates, so just hope i'll be able to handle the pace and hope i don't get moved down either!

Hope its not a long winter for you then and we get a tropical spring Laughing

I'd always recommend first timers to go into novice. Thinking you are fast on the road is a lot different than actually being fast on the track.

It was in the novice group today (as it was my first track day)

Still fun though...

Dark, I popped over this afternoon as I finished work early. Spotted 3 ZX10's in the fast group, which one were you?

Green Helmet?
or
Red/Black Leathers?
or
Red Tail-piece?

Looked like the weather had held up, although it looked like rain as I was leaving about 3pm.

The guy on the supermoto was keeping up with the fast boys on sportsbikes quite well. There seemed to be a Bandit 12 riding very slow though, not sure why he was in the fast group. Confused

On the restricted license trackday front only Foccussed events have that rule. Both Hottrax and No Limits will let you ride on any track in the UK (Except Oulton, brands, snetts, or cadwell) and No Limits say you don't even have to ride a restricted bike.

I have e mailed these companies because I'm looking to book one next year. Thumbs Up
