Do they have to be road bikes?

I choose one of these beasts every time this post comes up. Jawa 500cc Laydown Engine, running purely on methanol (dope), probably pumping out around 78bhp at the wheel with one gear, a very sudden clutch an no brakes. Thumbs Up

https://www.speedwaybikes.com/rw/images/05kerrbike.jpg

2001 KX125 (Like My One, we think) Thumbs Up

https://w1.bikepics.com/pics/2003%5C07%5C13%5Cbikepics-55143-full.jpg

And i guess, for the road...

I haven't got any pictures but I love Fireblades, all generations, I swore to myself, back in 1992, that I'd have one and now I'm on my 6th.

Call me boring but that's about it.

Cheers

Vincent Black shadow because it was so fast and so far ahead of its time:
https://www.motorrad-bild.de/images_textbildarchiv/redaktion/vincent_black_shadow_1948_redaktion.jpg

Honda RC166 because of the engineering and general "They built WHAT?" factor:
https://www.honda.co.jp/WGP/spcontents2003/kodou/02b/images/rc166-2.jpg

and there will always be room for an RD350LC2 in my garage because of the warp drive engine:

closely followed by:

and you gotta have one of these!!
https://www.muskeltiere.de/motorraeder/umbauten/rd500-1gr.jpg

but then you still need something for some proper cornering so:

*and*

oh, and LUXY, that duc in your pictures is the new Desmosedici - basiacally the motoGP unit put on the road and yes it is in production.. think it's retailing around the £34k mark with 2 years scheduled maintenance included.

V4 990cc ducati & 200+ bhp with the sport setup (and extra £2k if you please)... nice to look at but i reckon i'd be too scared to actually ride the thing!! Laughing

gonna do serious damage in the WSB's next year though methinks!

Oooooh sex wee sex wee sex wee.....that Duke is soo nice. Dunno why but it looks like a really pissed off red whale....and I like that.

Apparently it will be a production bike one day. It's got mad exhausts that rise up through the erm pillion bit....

Did hear rumours that they were going to go back to the single sided swing arm design but that bike would show other wise....

As for the 48 cylinders bike.....how do you reach the handle bars Thinking
