Just had a visit from my bookkeeper. She's become a good friend in the 3 years she's worked for me and we've socialised, gone out with her and her husband. Came to collect some so paperwork of me this morning and I asked about her husbands mate. She told me a few months ago how her husband was pretty upset as this mate had been diagnosed with advanced cancer of the oesophagus. He was told it was too large to operate on and that it was basically terminal. He didn't give up though and spent time on the internet looking for something that could help him. Apricot kernels kept coming up as an alternative treatment. So for several months, without telling the Docs he chewed 5 of these things a day. Time went by, he went to the Docs for a check up, they did some tests and discovered the tumour had shrunk to the size of a pea. They operated and removed it and he's now on the road to recovery and hopefully a long life.
I'm not saying this is a cure for cancer. My Dads terminally ill with it though, and I think I may get him some. It'a a little hope if nothing else.
Just thought I'd share.

Andy

I don't know about alternative therapies but I do believe completely in positive thinking having an effect on your state of health and mind.
That's easy to say when you're not terminally ill though.
I wish you and your dad all the best.

Thanks. I don't know why I mentioned Dad. I suppose it's because I don't want him to leave us.

My dad had bowel/liver cancer. The tumour on his liver was too large to operate on. Unfortunately we didnt find anything that would help Dad, I truly hope that your Dad gets better Karma Anything is worth a try!
