I was on my way home today after a nice sunday ride wiv my m8, when i noticed somthing very red, and low and wide pulled up next to me at an out of town set of lights. I was minding my own business and taking it steady after a nice 120mile ride out this morning, when of all things an F355 Spider pulled up next to me. He was revving the engine, which i have to admitt sounded lovely. The first time i have ever been in a situation with a super car whislt riding my bike, so what did i do?
Well i had a sort of bad feeling, so i decided to let him go first. I thought that i would just see how quick he was, so i gave my bike a handful and stuck to his bumper until 75 when i thought id better slow down to the speed limit. Still i caught it back up later when he was stuck behind a row of 45mph sunday drivers. A Ferarri 355 costs probably close to 100k but it cant pass cars with oncoming traffic on a wide road, or filter at ques, which makes it seem like pretty poor value for money compared to my 5k motorbike!

You shouldn't have any problems out accelerating pretty much any production car on a ZX6R. The Mclarren F1 and a *few* other should be similar but you have to get into serious tuning or big engined kit cars to be able to beat a stock zx.

I agree, its just i couldent really be bothered after a longish ride, either that or i thought that if i wasted him then he'd probably sit right up my arse and piss me off, so i resisted. Following it closely from the lights though i was only revving to about 9-10k in first and about 8-9k in second to stay right with it, so yep a zx6r would leave him for dead easily, with a rider that knew what he was doing.
