Some lamp posts you touch the shade to turn it of and on, others them stem and if not look for small push in switches usually hidden somewhere discrete.

he just attempted to chase the car under the table, on his way he hot whiplash off the door frame and then again from the table leg and a chair, turned around and got nailed by the boor frame again and ended up on his side in pain cus he just fell on his war wound (the lady dogs will love him)
