I used to supply Couriers to the Royal Bank of Scotland. The bank insured each rider to carry Bearer bonds up to a value of £1 under £1,000,000,000. Generally you'd send in between 3 and 9 riders at a time for these runs.

Or there was the late night cash runs from angel triangle down to SE1 with 4 holdalls on board, each measured 15X15X36 inchs stuffed with cash for HSBC. The runs went by bike as we could do it in 7 minutes as opposed to a cash van taking 30.

ok a better version of the plan would be if u have a friend in the cheque issuing department

if the company normally issues cheques for Red Tomato Company, you get your mate to issue a cheque for the Re Tomato Company, an you set up a company with the same name.

Another thing is that some purchasing departments never query invoices below a certain amount. So if you just invoice companies at random for a small amount, a fair few will pay you money.

I once met a guy in purchasing who discovered this scam after they did an audit and found that one company had invoiced them for lots of small amounts (and been paid) even though they had never had dealings with the company or received any goods or services from them.

I once was book keeper who had control of a BACS system of an account that contained 43 million , the boss of that company was a right tight wad ,

should have flown to switzerland , BACS'd it to that account laundered it and come back with likr 10 mil.

At the last job I had my company credit card. No limit on it. Could put anything on it!

Just to explain this a little further to those that don't understand.

The trust put in a courier is to carry a package and pretend not to know whats inside it regardless of where we pick up from. Legally this means we can NEVER be in possesion of the contents of a package only in possesion of the package.

Small potatoes in comparison, but I had a cheque on my desk tonight for £1,700 quid - and I ripped it up. Very nice to do so too - it was a cheque I'd written myself that had been returned because I no longer had to pay for something that I had expected to get stung for.

Unfortunately I had an unexpected bill for approximately £3,200 worth of car repairs last month, so there isn't a new bike on the cards.
