Hi I had an off on my 99 R1 at Silverstone on Monday 11th and broke my Right arm (that was paralysed anyhow).

The bike was highsided onto start finish straight , I had no warning but i suspect it may have Seized unless it seized afterwards as it was screaming its nuts off!

The bike did look lovely and Handled absolutely lovelly- but now has a bent subframe (easy to cut down as near the back),shattered rear seat unit dented tank, and engine won't turn over (was low miles at about 11k)

Good bits that survived :

Ohlins road and track forks with new seals and oil change (small graze on bolt next to where the Damper is)
Ohlins rear shock
Ohlins steering damper (the rod Knob has slight graze)
Harris triple clamps with Damper Bracket.
Harris Clip -ons seem O.k
Harris gold anodised frame bungs.
Harris Mudguard (slight crazing near bolts due to bird hitting it!) and Hugger
Techtronics Trickshifter (the latest cost £400)
gold Anodised DBR adjustable rearsets with broken left footpeg.
Michelin Pilot Power tyres 1 trackday old.
Renthal Sprockets and Gold Chain
Double bubble screen
Unmarked Remus High level can (race)
Wheels And Brakes o.k (I have 2 sets)
I also have standard forks and Yolks and rear shock.
Akrapovic Road legaL silencer for "quiet" Track days.

I will sell bike complete or break if enough enquiries so offers please.

I live near Silverstone if anyone wants to view.

Will ebay otherwise to pay bills as I'm going to be out of work a While!
