So i went to my friends house with my XBox, a copy of the first splinter cell and a few hours later i have an unlocked XBox with the 360 media centre in.

Enter other friend who lives 5 minutes from me....a few blanks discs later and Reservoir Dogs appears to be a good game, and Scarface is somewhat difficult to get into.

Free games for 3 beers, can't complain.

i've been softmodding consoles for years now.

if you want to Softmod (chip) your Xbox then here's the tutorial https://www.i-hacked.com/content/view/114/62/

Although as stated you'll need a retail game of mech Assault, or Splinter Cell, or james Bond 007

you'll also need a memory card, and an old Xbox pad that you don't need anymore, and a Male USB head.

if anybody can;t be arsed to do all that then I charge 10 quid to Softmod your Xbox with ALL the latest software, Xbox Media Center etc. once this is installed it will allow you to STREAM media from your PC, for instance watch Movies straight away without having to copy them to your Xbox hard drive, look at your photo's, listen to your music, Stream Porn and music from the internet on your Xbox. I also throw in a free game

I also "chip" Xbox 360's to be able to play copies, this involves Stripping your Xbox and flashing new firmware to your dvd drive, I use the latest flash firmware that is "stealthed" which basically means that all the copies that you play seem perfectly Genuine to Microsoft.

I charge 25 to "chip" the XBox' 360's this way as it requires me opening up your console, I also throw a free game in too Thumbs Up

i also "chip" PSP's this involves another software mod where your software is downgraded to 1.5, I charge 8 squid

Stoke On Trent Area if required, modding done while you wait, or I can provide a collect and drop off process if you want

Where do I get them from?

I'm tired of paying for overpriced games and would like to get them a little cheaper, free would be good too.

And before anyone starts, I don't care if you think this makes me a pikey kitten killer, I really don't. Thumbs Up Smile

Could you explain how that works and is it for a slimline or a full sized one?

Ta. Smile

I use swap magic, its pretty good. Its a bit of a pain but i dont play on my ps2 very often so i dont mind.

Usually rent or download a game burn it onto dvd and play that. Smile

Only costs like £15 and you don't need to open your ps2, althought the slide card is quite tricky at first.

Why would I need that new case for a swapdisc?

makes it easier to swap.

if you dont use a fliptop lid then you need a tool to extract the drive tray which can be a big pain in the arse.
