I bought a brand, spanking new Honda cbr 125 , at the beginning of July this year. The bike was delivered by bike transporters. However when I checked through the documents that came with the bike there was no service book.

I rang the dealer who I bought the bike off, and he told me that there was a lot of people also waiting for service books to be sent from Honda.

we where told we would get the book eventually.

Well so far we have not received anything, I keep ringing he keeps telling me he will send it, he has sent it, he hasn’t sent it, it must be lost in the post.

A call to Honda told me that the service book would of gone with the bike.

What can I do? Sad

When I picked up my Type R it was missing the owners manual, not essential but a nice something to have when selling as it tells you silly things like how to tune the radio Laughing

I contacted the Honda dealer and they said they would get another one to me, emails and telephone calls later and still no book.

I just gave up in the end.

Whats worse though is that I'm still missing a spare alarm / immobilizer key fob Mad

Damn you Honda Thumbs Down

They should have given you a receipt of the work carried out documenting its millage so in theory you could go back when you have the book to get it stamped.

Your dealer is pissing you around.
Colin Appleyard did the same thing to me -- I had to wait THREE WEEKS for them to send the damn book. Rolling Eyes
