Got a really annoying problem with my cat.
She is quite old now, 11 years old (human years that is).

The problem is that she keeps pissing near the bathroom and in the hall way around it. It's becoming a REAL problem.
Also she is acting strangely in other ways, eg. hissing at me more than usual.

In the off chance any body might know anything about cat psychology I write this post.

You haven't been leaving your drugs lying around have you? Rolling Eyes

How long has this behaviour been happening? Did it start off as being intermittent? or did it happen suddenly etc?

Hi

11 isn't that old old for a cat. My old car lasted until she was about 22. The 2 cats we have now are 4 and 13.

The older cat got into a bad habit of peeing in a plant pot a few years back. Took some effort for the little bugger to manage it. We solved that by slicing a lemon up and putting it in the plant pot (cats don't like citrus fruits)

All the best

Keith

I agree with keith, but it may just be a territorial thing, maybe your cat thinks the bathroom is their territory now!

Take up the carpet where it's been peeing on and place the carpet where you want it to pee, ie. it's littertray. Wink
