Whats with all these daddy long legs?!

Anyone else noticed we appear to have a plague of dragonfly/daddy long legs? Theres hundreds and hundreds on my garden, a few got in the house but Saki (my cat) saw to that

Quite a few large spiders webs in the garden and garage, and lots of daddy long legs inside the house.
Our sheepdog pup sees off any insect visitors indoors though. Cheses them round the room then stamps on them

I have noticed also there are alot of daddy long legs the outside of my house is covered with them, any that get in the cat eats them. Havnt seen large spiders and i dont want to see any as for some reason house spiders scare me, not trantulas and the likes them quick ones withthe fat bodies and long legs. *shivers*

Yep... Invasion of the flying critters here too.... Seem like they are dying off though, I must have found 20-30 corpses in the last week!

We have loads of the buggers (ahem) too...Although there are quite a lot wriggling around with only 2 legs because my brothers find it amusing to pull them off

We've had quite a few grasshopper like things as well, Fizz (the cat) came in today making a weird clicking noise, she opened her mouth and there was this grasshopper inside, she had it down after that

I have to agree, left the window open in the bath room due to , er,, guests dropping iffy ones and the kids were whinging in the eve that there were daddy long legs everywhere, and there were, loads of little black flys aswell.
no shortage of spiders, unfortunately there all hiding in my garden, you should have seen em scarper when I cut the lawn

God yeah, there's at least 4 in the house atm, one's on the wall above the computer.

One was on the shower wall earlier so I removed it and it flew off out the window. Was having a shower when I noticed one above the window. Wasn't a problem though cos it was kinda far away. Then I go to rinse the stuff out my hair, I look up and the titting thing's hanging off a clothes line on the ceiling right above me with 2 of its legs dangling down.

I ARGH another one's just arrived!

The cat usually eats them but he's gone out for a walk. Bloody things, argh!

The answer is, do NOT kill web spinning spiders.

They are free to patrol my room and house as they please, killing all the FUCKING crane flies that irritate me with their pathetic brains sending them flapping about into just about every square inch of the planet.

I will however kill any of those massive non webber spiders I find, meaningless, they just sit on the wall and die more or less.

Any crane flies or moths I just leave for the spiders, some of the spiders are getting pretty smart with their web whereabouts and most flies are fucked within a day of entrance to my house.

To those who think I am cruel, go out and find a nice friendly big cat, that will of course share your views, not ruthlessly smite you either for irritating it with your presence or simply because it's dinner wasn't as satisfying as it looked.

I thought i had done pretty well when i came to clean a pool out at work and found about thirty of the bloody things drowned on the surface. Ended up having to scoop them all out in a net!

We live near a big bush, and what really annoys me is getting webs in your face and in your hair from the bastard spiders. Dont mind Daddylong legs, they make me laugh. But moths, they are so fucking stupid, why do they insist on twatting themselfs into lightbulbs and dont go out the sodding window when you direct them

I hate crane flies, and there are loads of them around at the mo!!

They're like daddy long legs that fly! What could possibly be worse than a spider that can fly and chase you?! The way they wiggle as they fly at you as well just makes me cringe!
