Passed my DAS on first attempt this morning, been strugaling so much with U-turns i was really worried about them (i even broke their front hand brake off practising Sad ) but did the test and got 6 minors most pulling away bit to far out and 2 obstruction clearence but the road was really bad so wernt sure how much clearence etc.

Got home today rang up insurance and got loads of freebes thrown in and cheaper than i thoughtso im really happy with the insurance. Done 35 miles today around local roads, went on motorway and the bike is awsome on the road (SV650s 04 by the way) keep finidng excuses to get back out on it and taking nice long ways home. I never enjoyed the rs125 this much and im going to go back out and get something Rolling Eyes anyway i need to buy some food.

Oh and the DAS has made me such a better rider than the CBT did i now check everywhere for everything, and now i notice how stupid and careless alot of drivers are. There are some good ones out there though.

You'll never forget how it feels. The DAS thing is great in the way it prepares you for your test. You get more and more nervous as the test day gets nearer that it feels like your heads a champagne cork when you pass Very Happy

Well done Thumbs Up

Cheers Smile

Did 52 mile yesterday, not alot as i dont really know alot of roads etc but still found any excuse i could to go exploring. Taken it into work today and makes the journey to work a little more interresting, only downside being the amount of traffic.

Going to make sure i allways do the lifesavers etc as i do realise the importance of them. Got to stick some petrol in today sometime then gunna go for another ride somewhere after work. Booked tickets for the NEC bike show this october and gunna go for ride up there with coronaboner following my uncle up. Many others going to the nec show?

Im guessing it from personal experiance?

Been riding about to work etc and today went for little ride in evening and had someone pull out of a junction right in front of me, had to slam my brakes on, he didnt even look and he just had this "oh well" look on his face when i bibbed him. Apart from that its all been good fun. Found out my jackets not very waterproof today lol so was nice sitting through another 4 hours of training at work soaking wet Laughing

Still feels wierd with no L plates and rather than finiding every route around a motorway i can just go on there. Im suer the novalty will wear of soon but the fun of riding will never go, something im enjoying this much can never get boring surely?
