I finally get my full bike licence and what happens, scotland gets hit by the tale end of a hurricane!!! I just passed on monday and I am dieing to get out on the roads now i no longer have "L" plates, but its too windy Evil or Very Mad

Also just to make the day even better i looked out my window to discover my RS125 had blown over and was lying on her side, thankfully nothing was broken.

Bloody weather bring back the heat wave, at least then all you did was melt in the heat of your leathers Smile

Yeahh its been bad here too mate.

I was over the tops (penines) and it got mental, the bike started moving, weirdly , like the wheels weren't in allignment.

I had to stop and turn back and slow down.

----------

When I had a 125, that was the most frightening ever in wind, when I moved acorss an entire lane on a dual carriageway..

Well done!

Commuting 70 miles a day at present and the wind is awful. Not recommended.

Gratz on passing, anybody who has the nerves to go through their test 6 times deserves a medal....

I had a mate who took 11 goes to pass his driving test, had some nervous disorder problem or something, perfectly decent driver though.....

As for the weather, well its 27 here and sunny, it's rubbish, whish it was 30....

Weather much better today, but half way up the M77 i looked down to discover my speedometer wasnt working, i really dont have much luck with my bike Shocked

By God that weather report is certainly right in that we in Ireland sure do have the tail end of that hurricane!! The wind sounds psycho out there tonight!!! Shocked Had to run down to make sure the bike was still upright!!

Bring back that lovely heatwave - at least when I was moving I was enjoying it and not melting in my leathers!! Laughing I'd rather be melting than soaked through anyday! Rolling Eyes
